artist Info.

I was born in Rahway, New Jersey on May 7, 1976. My mother was a talented artist and encouraged my drawing ability at a young age. I drew pictures and carried them around in a little briefcase and sold them to my relatives and parent’s friends. Typical subjects were the usual kid stuff like monsters and airplanes, but as I remember, they sold pretty well!

I had a typical childhood of summer camps, soccer games, days at the shore and skinned knees. Being an only child for 14 years drove me to be a bit introverted, and I have always been attracted to internal, solitary practices such as martial arts, yoga, meditation, and of course, artwork. I even find today that yard work is a great spiritual, solitary practice!

My artwork is a reflection of my spiritual beliefs about the connections between humans and the environment; and I use my artwork as a meditative practice of expressing those beliefs. I want people to see what I am thinking, but I also would like my artwork to be used as a catalyst for positive change in their own hearts and minds.

In high school I met my future wife, Amanda. We started dating after college, and were married in Maine on July 10th,  2003. She is a true supporter of my artwork and I appreciate her support, input and understanding.

Having received a degree from Trenton State College in Graphic Design, I opened up Delameana Design, LLC., a small web and print design shop where I work as creative director.

I currently reside in Hightstown, NJ with Amanda, 2 cats (Pip and Thunder), a bunch of fish and bearded dragon lizard, Irwin.
