01.06.10 - Happy New Year. I've posted a couple of new paintings to the artwork section.I haven't been painting much lately, as my energy has been focused on getting our home ready for our new addition. My wife and I recently found out that we are expecting our first child, and we are very excited.

08.11.09 - It's been awhile since I've had any news, but I'm happy to say that on Saturday, October 10th, 2009, from 2-6pm I will be having a show with many new paintings! It will be Musing Antiques, an antique and home furnishings shop in Hightstown, New Jersey. Musing Antiques is located in the beautifully restored "Smith House", the oldest residential structure in Hightstown dating back to the 1770s. Come hang out with us for the day, look at some new paintings, and enjoy this amazing piece of Historic architecture…and as always we will be having an after party at one of the local establishments! 06.10.08 - I've been decompressing since the Mariboe Gallery show in March (see photos here), and now I think I am ready to start painting again. It was a lot of effort to get everything ready for the show, but the end result was well worth the work. Thank you all for sharing the evening with me and I hope to see all again soon. My newest painting, Return, is now in the Artwork section.

10.11.07 - 2 new paintings have been posted to the site - Amanda & Flower Power. The techniques that I used in these 2 paintings were heavily inspired by what I learned at the "Painting the Fantastic" seminar with Robert Venosa and Martina Hoffmann that I took this summer. I credit and thank them for taking my painting to another level.

10.10.07 - See the photos from the recent live painting that my wife and I did during the CD Release party with The Natural Breakdown at the Crossroads Theatre in New Brunswick. It was an amazing experience and I thank them for including us.

Also check out the photos from the Art in The Park Street Festival. Over 200 artists (including illustrators, painters, sculptors) from around the tri-state area got together to show off thier work.It was a great time.

06.15.07 - My new painting, The Source, will be on display at Alex Grey's Microcosm Gallery in New York City in a show called Original Face. Opening night is Thursday, July 5th and it will run through Saturday, September 1st.

06.10.07 - From June 22 - 29, 2007 I will be at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, New York to paint and learn from visionary artists Robert Venosa and Martina Hoffmann. I suggest checking out thier work, its amazing!

11.10.05 - Thank you to everyone who came to the show at Yoga Vayu. It was amazing! About 50 people showed up, and we had a great time looking at the art, talking and drinking wine. We were able to raise $425 for the Caribbean Conservation Corporation. The sea turtles and I thank you! Click here for photos.

11.8.05 - After 3 months of campaigning in Hightstown, I was elected to our town council. This should be interesting...

8.19.05 - I will be showing 3 pieces at The Big Art Show in Philadelphia on Aug. 27th. There will be 40 artists, 5 bands, live painting and general mayhem.

I'm also having a show @ Yoga Vayu @ 354 George St in New Brunswick, NJ. Opening night: Sunday, Nov. 6th, 8-10pm. Music and performers along with the artwork. Its sponsored by the fine folks over at Albus Cavus gallery in New Brunswick. The work will be up for a month. Drop me a line if you need more details!

06.15.05 - Due to the success of the last one, we're doing another live painting and music showcase at The Circa Lounge on June 28th at 8pm. Featuring some of the best singer/songwriters in the NJ area including Mike Clifford, Shelly Riff, Rhonda Schuster, Lauren Ianuzzi, Josh Rifkin, Patricia, Brian Fitzpatrick, & Edgar M. Come on out and support the arts.

05.20.05 - The Circa Lounge music/live painting show was great. A big thanks to all the people who showed up and took a look at my stuff. Great musicians, a nice venue and a cool vibe made this a memorable evening. We are planning the next one for Tuesday, June 28th. I plan on doing a little more work on the painting, so check back soon for the finished product. Here are some pics of the event.

05.05.05 - On May 17th I will be doing a live painting along with some bands playing original music at the Circa Lounge http://circalnj.com in Rochelle Park, NJ. I will also be showing my new painting. Come out and support the arts, listen to some music and drink some beers. Email me if you need any more info.

11.10.04 - Progress on the World Shaman painting is coming along. I feel like it's almost done, but there is still a good bit of work to do on it. I will (hopefully) be showing it at the next art show at the Peddie School on Dec. 10th. Have a look.

10.15.04 - Since we couldn't attend the Burning Man Festival this year, a few of us got together and paid homage to it through this sculpture, titled Prayer Phoenix, at our annual Octoberfest celebration on the Delaware River. Check it out!

9.21.04 - Thanks to everyone who came out on Sat. night for the CD Release and Art Show. Everyone seemed to have a good time and it was an interesting night for both Patrick and I. 8.1.04 - On September 18th at 7:30pm we are having a CD Release/Art Show at the Slowdown Cafe in Hightstown, featuring the new release by Patrick Thompson, 5 Winter Afternoons. I will be showing a bunch of recent work. Matt Kumka did an awesome job on the illustration for the booklet. Email me for more info.

7.20.04 - My latest painting is coming along well. It's called World Shaman, and its theme is using the wisdom of ancient cultures to heal the planet. Here is a shot of it as it is currently, and I plan on showing it at the open exhibition at the Peddie School on December 10th. Check back for updates.

7.4.04 - My wife's brother Matt and I traveled to the Omega Institute in upstate New York for a week to work with Alex Grey, the visionary artist. We ate vegetarian, hung out with the hippies, and made some art. Here are some photos. 1, 2, 3.
